Running version 1137. Seems to have problem that the two entries "Chart Data Output Sheet Number" and "Formula Source Sheet Number" will NOT assign to the default chart number even when the study is saved with "0" as entries for both in a study with Spreadsheet System/Alert. With this, we would have to create one study for each chart of the same study. Please check and advise. Thanks. |

What is meant by the "default chart number"? We are certain, the settings do work properly and as designed. So really it is a case of understanding how they work. Describe a very specific scenario that you are doing and how they are being set exactly. We will confirm if this is expected. Thanks. I have a new study in Chart 7 with a Spreadsheet System/Alert containing default settings. Chart data Output sheet number is "0", and formula source sheet number is "7". I save it to s study, and open a new chart 8, load this study again, but the formula Source Sheet number "7" was saved to the study and does not change to "8" as I thought it should be default to "8". Before I saved this study, I tried to change the formula source sheet number to "0" thinking it is a way to remove "7" in the study. Tried a few times, still new charts would not set the formula source sheet number to the chart number. Tried to change "0" to blank before saving the study, still not working. |

, but the formula Source Sheet number "7" was saved to the study and does not change to "8" Yes. This works as documented. Refer to the documentation for this study input. What you further describe is all by design. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
