I've tripled checked everything, the port matches, socket clients are enabled & all of my TWS settings are correct as are my Sierra Chart settings.

Part of the message log error code reads,

"IB TWS socket (1) | Connect event error. Windows error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

Is the TWS software running on the same computer as the Sierra Chart software?

Yes, although I am running Sierra Chart through Parallels & TWS is installed on my MacBook.

I also reached out to Interactive Brokers support & they've just got back to me this morning.
They said that if TWS is installed on the MacBook & SC is installed on Parallels they are essentially installed on two different machines and because of this, I will need to allow port connections between the two environments.

Is there an article on SC that I could reference on how to allow port connections between the two?

We do not have any information on how to make the connection when the programs are on two different systems (as IB stated, the setup you have is essentially two different systems). We only have the information on how to do the setup on a single system.
