Yes. That will work but it will give a lot of signals because many bars will be above the point of control.

Yes. But is this just used as a Simple Alert on the study itself or are you using the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition?

I put just a simple alert on the study itself but I could use whichever one would work best.

This depends upon what is required. If you are just using a Simple Alert for current bar alerting, and not coloring the bars, then the formula is fine.
