Hello Support,

I am using Study Numbers Bars Calculated Values with High Pullback Ask Volume and Bid Volume Difference Subgraph on a higer Timeframe (4h).
So if a 4h Bar makes new High the Subgraph resets. I want to use this value FROM 4h Timeframe on a lower Timeframe, 5min. This is no problem with the
Study/Price Overlay Study. BUT: What I need is to see the changed value on the lower Timeframe, not only the current value to get a historical view in
5min of the changing of the 4h values. How can I make such values from 4h persistent?

Thanks, A

There is not a built-in way to capture the previous value of an item in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values.

The only way that we can think to do this would be to create a custom study in which you would have to keep track of the "previous" value whenever the subgraph updated. Refer to the following for the start of the documentation for custom studies:

Thanks John, unfortunately I am not a coder an I cannot do this. My hope was that there would be a workaround to store the last 3-10 items...through another study or whatever

Unfortunately this does not exist. We will set this as a Feature Request, but it is not something we can get to any time soon, and we can not say when we would be able to get to it.

We recommend contacting a user named Ackin, as he has a number of free studies that he has made over the years. He might have what you are looking for already done. You can post in the following thread and see if you can get a hold of him:
