hi, if I have a live feed that I want to use into SC, is there an api/method for doing this? If there is, can you point me to the docs? The feed I have I get from RTD (what used to be DDE). |

Been looking at the page. Nice initiative! Have a few questions about DTC before trying this out: 1. Can a server support only part of the DTC api? Say I only support historical data and only daily data. Would SC the client "live" ok with that in terms of how it would function? Is there a minimum interface that the server needs to support? 2. Say I need to get none standard market data into SC through RTD. As an example, take option implied volatility for real - would DTC serve for that as well? Would I just need to provide a symbol format to support it? Say SPX-ImpVol or something similar? 3. You mention that SC can maintain historical data and distribute it to users. Does that mean that you can persist live data and store it for historical purposes? |
