(user email) I see [M] after the symbols - whether Tick or Minute or Day intervals. What does the [M] mean? In moving to Sierra Chart Version 2425 - it looks as if some things have changed in the new version. Specifically before when I right click on the chart and select chart settings I got a nice little box and if I wanted to change the symbol on the chart that was easy to do - click on Find Symbol I think it was. I just did that out of curiosity and it is totally different. Q. If I don't know the symbol for say Japanese yen, how do I find it in chart settings? before I could go to CME and the CME symbols would drop down or if it isn't CME I would go to CBOT or COMEX and look to see if Japanese yen is there and then find the month I want. I don't see how I do that in the new design. |

With regards to the [M] refer to the following: Chart Data and Chart Data Files: The Meaning of the [M] Designation after a Symbol The Find Symbol page has not changed. You can access it from "File >> Find Symbol". If you are wanting to bring up the Find Symbol window from within the "Chart Settings", then you need to select the Symbol field and to the right you will see a button for "Select". Select the "Select" button to bring up the Find Symbol window and select your symbol from there. For more information on our new settings windows, refer to the following: Settings Windows Interface For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
