Hello, I'd like to suggest you some improvements that would allow the users to save time and distress: 1) Window menu bar fonts and Alert Manager fonts (please see images SC1_window_menu_bar.png and SC2_alert_manager.png): I pledge you for mercy. The current fonts are suitable for who are in their 20s. Who are in their 30s and 40s may begin to have some eyesight problems. And I'm 60 and already wear glasses. Please use bigger or more readable fonts, or allow the user to set them as necessary. 2) Alert Manager (please see image SC2_alert_manager.png): 2.a) The "Delete" command doesn't prevent the user to delete an entry accidentally. A confirmation request would be appropriate. 2.b) The user cannot save their preferred column widths. 2.c) Enabling an alert again, it still shows as "triggered". It seems not to reset. 3) Add Symbol Alert (please see image SC3_add_symbol_alert.png): A value deviation in percentage (e.g. above <value> +0.1% or below <value> -0.1%) would be appreciated. At present the user has to calculate it separately. 4) Horizontal Line Properties (please see image SC4_horizontal_line_properties.png) and similar tools: 4.a) The user cannot modify either the color and the text using the same command, but is forced to do two separate tasks for the same item. 4.b) The user cannot select multiple tools to set the same modifications to all selection. 4.c) A "copy properties" command would be very appreciated. 5) Save Chartbook (please see image SC5_save_chartbook.png): 5.a) All the "Chartbook" windows should be resizable to avoid a continuous mouse dragging. 5.b) The File Name should show highlighted for the same reason. 5.c) All the "Chartbook" windows should have the "Search" field. Please consider who have to do the same tasks repeatedly. Many thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-09-01 09:37:53

1. These are operating system controlled fonts. You need to change these through the Windows operating system. Sierra Chart does not control these particular fonts at all. And all other fonts in Sierra Chart are controllable unlike other programs in the world. Sierra Chart is the only program in the world, that let's you control all font sizes: Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance And the new settings windows, also let you control fonts and all the old dialog windows are being converted to the new settings windows. Many thanks for your reply. I've managed to set the menu bar fonts but have been unable to find the settings for the Alert Manager. In Graphic Settings, "Spreadsheet" seems not to be the right choice. Can you help me, please? |

The Alert Manager text is controlled by the "Text Windows" font.

Moin Moin. May I add the improvement-suggestion to allow to resize the "Text Properties"-Tool (Create text with ctrl-y, then right-click→"Chart Drawing Properties"). It would be helping see the whole of the text at a glance, whilst typing. →Within the screenshot "improvement-suggestion to allow to resize the ˮText Propertiesˮ-Tool.png" You see, that the text has to be scrolled to see it, which slows work a bit. _Tschüß, __Michael. Those particular dialogs are being redeveloped and will become resizable.

P.S.: Whilst you are at it.: Can You, please, add the same search.tool to the to of the "Graphics Settings" (normal/local as well as global) Window. Maybe even to any settings-window using some inheritance/template-trait. |
