Hello, often the study labels on chart overlap each other (please see the attached image) and that's a bit annoying. While I've found the option to make the background transparent on tools, e.g. the Horizontal Line, I haven't found the same for studies. Making the background transparent would allow the user to add just some white spaces to the text to misalign the labels. That would be a fast solution. The best solution instead would be the possibility to chose among a number of different label positions. Any chances to get this problem solved? |

Yes you can control the label Horizontal positions. Refer to: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Name and Value Labels Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Sorry for not expressing clearly. I can control the label horizontal position but just between left (edge) and right (edge), not among, e.g. "left minus 10 px", "left minus 50 px", "left minus 20 px", etc. And most importantly I cannot set, it seems to me, a transparent label background. A black background always covers every underlying label when overlapping. What I'd like is: EMA 4 --------------------EMA 8 --------EMA 20 ------------------------------EMA 15 etc. A transparent background would help to do that, while your team would provide us with some different label position and background settings. The only thing that we could reasonably add would be a transparent label option for study Subgraphs.

Hello Sierra Chart, Was the transparent label background option added to all studies, as the "Use Transparent Label Background" option is only visible on the Number Bars "POC Extension Lines Until Further Intersection" subgraph for example? Thank you |

This is available for all studies. It is located on the Subgraphs tab of the Study Settings window under the option for Display Name and Value in Region Data Line. It is named Use Transparent Label Background. In order to use it, you need to enable the Label Option for Reverse Colors. Then when the option for Use Transparent Label Background is enabled the background rectangle around the value will not be displayed. This is an on/off setting, there is no control over the level of the transparency. We also see the documentation for this need to be updated, so we will get that done soon. Hello John, Thank you for the instructions. It appears that the transparency works on studies as you have suggested, but doesn't seem to be working on the "POC Extension Lines Until Further Intersection" subgraph. A screenshot is attached. Is there another setting that needs to be configured for this to work, as it only appears to be an issue for the POC Extension? Thank you |

Extension lines are not really Subgraphs. The subgraph information is just used to get the color and width of the extension lines, otherwise, they are drawn using a different method from the standard Subgraphs. As such, the option for Use Transparent Label Background does not apply to extension lines.

Hello John, Thank you for clarifying. If possible, can this be added as a feature request? |

Hi SC, https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1681775150777.png How can I get the line label value label to show the full price? See screenshot where I've set the ECI VWAP band lines to show the value label in the right side value column. Unfortunately, the value labels are rounding up and only showing 2 decimal places on 6J. I would like for the value labels to show the full price. Thank you. |

Hi skyfly93, Look at "Study Settings > Value Format" for the ECI VWAP study. |
