I am trading MES using an ES chart. Currently, the profit/loss currency amount on the chart displays ES figures rather than MES, e.g. $75 instead of $7.50. Is there a way to display the MES profit/loss instead of ES? "Use as Trade Only Symbol" is set to YES. Global symbol settings have been updated from server for both symbols. I've also noticed that when the size of an open position is 2 or greater, the value displayed is $0.01 greater or less than the correct value depending on win/loss status. If profits are $25.00, the value displayed is $25.01. If profits are -$50.00, the value displayed is -$50.01. The offset increases/decreases for every 2 contracts added. When trading 4 contracts, the displayed PnL is $0.02 higher/lower than the correct amount. When trading 6 contracts, the displayed PnL is $0.03 higher/lower than the correct amount. |

You need to update the Currency Value per Tick and set it to the value of the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) I've also noticed that when the size of an open position is 2 or greater, the value displayed is $0.01 greater or less than the correct value depending on win/loss status.
This can happen, as it is about rounding and floating point values. It is not anything to be concerned with. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
