I was successful in creating an alert condition from different charts which I aggregated using the study overlay and a Color Based Condition study with positive values: =AND (ID1.SG1, ID9.SG1, ID10.SG1, ID11.SG10) for the negative values I use the same process and I changed the following inputs: Output When Condition True: Use Custom Value / Custom Output Value When True: -1. I get this error: Formula references unknown study. How can I solve this issue? |

This will return -1 when TRUE: = -AND (ID1.SG1, ID9.SG1, ID10.SG1, ID11.SG10) |

I don't know enough about your particular system to offer a solution. However, I'm certain there is one. |

First, it looks like you are missing a closing parenthesis at the end of the your Alert Formula, which we think is why you are getting a formula error. Second, if you want the output to be -1 when the alert is true and you have the setting for Custom Output Value When True set to -1, then remove the negative sign from your Alert condition. See if that resolves it. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I did the adjustment but the error persists, the issue is with -1 alert as the 1 is working fine

Given the error you are getting that "Formula references unknown study", you must not have a study ID of 20, 21, 22, or 23 on that chart. Make sure your Alert condition matches up to the correct studies and Subgraph IDs.

They are there as you can see in the screenshot, they even show as a study overlay, I need to achieve what I did with the positive 1, an alert when the 4 conditions are met.

The ID of the study you have highlighted is "2". But in your Alert condition you are using study IDs of 20, 21, 22, and 23. These IDs do not exist on that chart. If you overlaid the studies, that is fine, but you need to reference the overlay ID, not the original ID on the other chart.

The IDS & the SGs are correct, ID20.SG1 that number 2 you mentioned corresponds to the chart number

In your alert condition you can not reference a study from another chart. You need to reference the Study/Price Overlay study. In other words, if you have a Study/Price Overlay that is ID #2 which references a study from another chart that is study ID #20, then in your alert, you need to reference the "Study/Price Overlay", not the study to which the overlay references. Yet in other, other words, you need to change the ID20 in your alert condition to ID2. That's not how my long conditions are working, as you can see in the screenshot I have a study overlay for each of my alerts from other charts and then I have a color bar-based condition to provide me an alert when they all correlate, my long alerts are working nicely, I have the same flow with the -1 alerts, even though the studies overlay are proving the alert, the color bar based condition for the -1 alerts doesn't work

Sorry, we were looking at the wrong numbers. But the basic issue still stands - The error you are getting is stating that the IDs that you have entered are not to valid study IDs. Please make sure that those study IDs are on that chart. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
