IB TWS API crashes after TWS update of version 'latest'

Today my TWS (version 'latest') got updated automatically by IB. Since then the TWS API crashes when I connect Sierra Chart to TWS. This problem does not occur when I downgrade TWS version to 'stable'. I suppose there are some TWS API changes in the latest TWS version. :-/

We do not understand what is meant by "TWS API crashes"? The API is part of Trader Workstation so what exactly is happening?

When I connect Sierra Chart to my TWS Desktop App (via Data/Trade Service IB) the TWS Apps stops working and freeezes. If I try then to close the TWS App, I see a TWS dialog message "Closing TWS API..." but nothing else happens. I have to kill the TWS windows process to close the application. This issue does not occur when I use an older version of TWS (branch "stable"). When I use TWS version "latest" or "beta" it does not work anymore...

I'm now using TWS version "stable" and it's working fine with Sierra Chart. If I update TWS to version "latest" or "update" it's not working anymore...

You need to let Interactive Brokers know about this . This is not a Sierra Chart issue.

I had the exactly the same problem . Started on Thursday Aug 4 ,I finished up having to call IB and they had be go to the stable version,

I think it has something do to with the TWS API market data feed subsription, espacially CME futures market data...Sierra Chart engineers should check if they need to update their TWS API lib integration. May be some TWS API functions have been changed in the latest IB TWS updates.
