I am wondering if there is a way to modify the trin indicator in the follwing manor

1. take the log of the NYSE TRIN value
2. I then want to use the log to calculate a negative values or a positive value
3. then i want to multiply the value by 100

I would like to normalize it to overlay it on a chart to look for divergence in the Trin and the ES...

I want the trin to have a value range between -100 and 100 with 0 being the neutral point...with the adaptation positive values indicate buying and negative values indicate selling.

The actual NYSE TRIN is inveresed relationship ie when market is selling of the TRIN is greater than
I am looki 1 and if the Market is rallying the TRIN is less than 1.

I essentilly want to use the new version to identify divergence patterns by using the new TRIN as an oscillator.

How is this possible:
1. take the log of the NYSE TRIN value
2. the value so that negative values are positive and positive are negative
You cannot take the logarithm of a negative number.

Anyway, certainly you can make various modifications to the chart data and output a new study based upon it. We recommend using ACSIL for this:

you are rt ...I am looking to take the log value and use in a calculation which will then reflect a negative.
