Hi Support,

I would like the Trades tab on the TAL to display P/L(and entry/exit times etc) based on matching the internal/parent order ID. I trade 2 systems simultanesouly on the same instrument with differing fixed TP/SL levels. One is a 20tick TP/SL, the other 100tick TP/SL. I use attached orders whenever entering a position, which are then used to exit, each and every time. I would like to be able to have the TAL display P/L for these positions based on order matching to the parent order ID.

As I often have positions open for each system at the same time, possibly in the opposite direction, SC and my TAL consider me to be flat. Which is in fact true, but P/L and other analysis of each system is then skewed due to using LIFO or FIFO, once the associated attached orders for each offsetting position are filled. I have attached a spreadsheet showing TAL exports of both the "Trade Activity - Fills" and "Trades" tabs. I've colour coded the cells to show what I'm talking about. Hopefully this makes it clearer to understand.

I know that I can export the fills to a spreadsheet and run my own analysis, or trade with a separate account for each system but it would be ideal to be able to do this from within SC. I understand you have many things to work on, but just a feature request if it can possibly be done without too much effort.

Thanks again for the platform, it's fantastic as always.

This is what you will need to do.

The request is not anything that we would work on. It would never happen.

No worries. I understand you have more important things to add. I only posted as I thought there may already be a way to do it that I had missed. Thanks again

Just in case anyone stumbles across this, I found that by using the Trade Window setting "Use Config Name as Text Tag", then when filtering trades in the TAL using the specified notes, the TAL actually matches the fills accordingly. To be clear I am using separate DOMs/Trade Activity windows with different trade configs for each system. Anyway, this is pretty much what I wanted to be able to achieve and works well.
