The best way to find the particular symbol you need is to open the File >> Find Symbol window. Then go to the appropriate exchange and find the entry you are looking for. If the information on our servers is correct, then you are using our Teton Order Routing Service, in which case, the general symbol format for NQ for this service is NQ?##_FUT_CME. You find this in the Find Symbol window under the CME exchange. Then open this section to see the individual contracts and select what you want. Also, refer to the section of the documentation on Continuous Futures Charts at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello John, so I did what you said and I only see contracts for this year. Also, I clicked the link you sent me and don't see anything about continuous contracts. The reason I want all of NQ data, is because I want to do monthly volume profiles and want to back test |

So I was able to get data until 2010 for the Nasdaq by changing the chart settings. How can I get it to the inception of the Index?

That is as far back as we have the data. Refer to the information at the following link for how far back our data goes: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: What is Included For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

There is at least 20 years of historical daily data available for NQ futures. Not 10 years. You should have no trouble accessing it. You need to use a Continuous Futures Contract chart. If there is any data missing, refer to: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Be aware of support policy: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#GeneralInformation For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, *change* to the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-07-22 18:09:53
