I am getting this error on multiple machines, windows and linux, doesn't seem to be a network connectivity or firewall issue, and I've exhausted any testing I can do. The historical daily charts are no longer updating for any symbol.

This turned out to be a "wine" issue under linux. Solved by upgrading to wine1.7 release from 1.6x.

Not sure how I migrated the issue to the windows 7 host.

Hi T44, do you have any details at all about what part of WINE was at issue here? I don't have access to 1.7.x for testing, as Debian is stuck around 1.6.2. :(

This means you are using Debian Testing.

Use codeweavers.com for x32 bit Debian Jessie right now

Wait for new version of crossover for x64 bit Debian Jessie

Thank you ganz for the tip about CrossOver.

In the mean time as I transition into live trading, I'm switching to a Windows VM in VirtualBox. I have the license anyway and XP for example, if sufficient, doesn't eat up much more resources than WINE. I liked the principle of trading on pure Linux, but I need 100% trust in my software in real time.

Thanks ganz but I already feel like I'm wasting precious SSD space on my Win7 VM so until Sierra Chart stops working in my XP VM I don't plan on trying out new versions of Windows. ;) It takes me a full day to tweak new installs to my liking (mostly finding all the annoyances and performance hogs to disable)...
