I am familiar with the study Sum All Charts. However, I have about 200 different groups I want to create. I have the different groups in a spreadsheet. What I'm trying to avoid is to do a "New Chartbook" -> "Find Symbol" with all the symbols for the group -> apply study.

Some of these groups have 50 stocks. So, that's a lot of work ahead of me using that method. Is there another way to accomplish this?

Thanks

If you want to create a custom index of 200 stocks you do need to have 200 charts open. They can all be within the same Chartbook. You would not want to put them in separate Chartbooks. That would not work.

Let me restate what I'm trying to do. I know that if I have 20 stocks, I can use the Sum All Charts study to make a custom index. However, I have a lot of different custom indexes that I want to make. I have about 200 different custom indexes I want to make. This will be a lot of tedious work to put about 20-50 stocks into 200 different chartbooks.

Is there a different way to make a custom index other than creating a chart book & doing a "Find Symbol" for all the different stocks, then applying the study?

Thanks
