My current status with SC is I'm subscribed to Denali and my broker is AMP so routing is through CQG at least until they adopt Teton. Now I want to open another account with Stage5+Teton and use it simultaneously. Can I do that ? How can I trade both accounts from the same computer with the same data feed but different routing ? Is that possible using a second installation of SC ? I already pay for a second set of CME fees that my wife hardly ever uses and was thinking to discontinue. Please advise. |

You do want to have two installations, and you want them to be on the same computer. For your account, you can have 2 installations on the same computer and get the Denali data to both of them without having to pay any additional fees. Refer to the information here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed Connections on Same Computer Simultaneously Then one installation will be set to trade with CQG and the other will be set to trade with Stage 5. Refer to the following information to install a second Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart And then follow these instructions to setup the Teton Order Routing Service with Stage 5 (you already have the Denali feed, so you can skip that part): Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions -- With regards to the second set of data, your wife should have her own Sierra Chart account that gets data separately. Additionally, we recommend that she have a separate installation of Sierra Chart, as we do not have any settings that are established by the login to the software. Everything is the same regardless of who logs in. It would not be a problem to have another installation on the system, as when she is logged into that version it is getting the data through her account. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-07-15 16:49:29

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the missus, she doesn't really have much use for a real time connection. She only uses it for delayed stock data. She keeps a portfolio in IB and their charting is a nightmare, thus I let her use my login but with SC data all services. |

That's fine, but we would recommend another (third) installation of Sierra Chart so you do not have to change the Data/Trade Service Settings when she wants to use the system. If you are both using the same Sierra Chart account, and if you are not running your Sierra Charts at the same time, then she can get the real-time data. But, if you keep your Sierra Charts running when she wants to login, then you would want to set the option for Chart >> Chart Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to No, as this will get the Delayed Streaming data and will not count towards the 2 connection limit for the Denali Feed. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
