I have a chart with a primary symbol then I've added 2 symbol studies, but they are not showing complete data and in fact the bars aren't even forming. I've deleted all the data and re-downloaded, but that didn't do the trick. I'm using a historical chart, but the other symbols print as lines rather than candlesticks.

I'm on the latest version (updated yesterday) using Denali.

I also have 1m of missing data from yesterday at 10:20 est and nothing seems to bring it back.

Additionally, I'm trying to see a day candle and when I got historical it's showing the ETH range open and close whereas I'm looking for RTH. When I switch it to Intraday...the data is missing.

Here's the missing data on the 1m chart. You can see candles missing in the highlighted area.

Btw, how long do those images stay on that server?

We do not know what the symbol of the charts are.

Open a new chart for the symbol without any studies.

Yes when we are asked for help, you must present us a clean simple chart, without studies. We have no understanding of what we are even looking at.

I've experienced this before...sometimes when you copy an old chart and then design within that...it doesn't work that good. You have to start fresh. So - I'm sort of not surprised that by opening a new window that I'm getting different results. That said, I do not know how to show the symbols of the additional studies. So, I'm trying to comply with the request as best as I understand.

OK, re; #7 post. This is an intraday chart with 1 day as the time frame and 2 additional symbols added. NQ & YM alongside the primary ES. Now the bars are painting, but not all of them. YM isn't - but I'm wondering if it just needs to download. However, I'm confused - if I take off the additional studies of add symbols - then the bars not painting won't show - so I'm unsure how you'd trouble shoot that. But please advise because I know you guys know your software better than me.

From the image you provided in post #8, the missing YM bars appear to just be a scaling issue. Make sure that region is set to "Automatic" scaling and reset the scales for that region.

It's not a scaling issue. I shrank it down and again, the data is missing. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1657901366258.png

Additionally, on my other "daily chart" I'm having missing data issues as well. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1657901206423.png

This is an intraday chart, set to 1 day (data missing). If I set it to historical, I get the data, but it will only show the ETH view and not the RTH. So I'm wondering if these issues are connected.

ETH view based on historical setting chosen https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=165790130396.png
no ability to get to just RTH view.

What is the exact symbol you have entered for the NQ and YM in the Add Additional Symbol studies?

I've followed the steps in #13.

The symbols are ESU22_FUT_CME & YMU22_FUT_CBOT

I fixed the visualization issue. It was just a chart graphics setting in the study itself.

The ESU22_FUT_CME we understand, as the symbol rolled over on 6/22 and the Add Additional Symbol does not support the Continuous Contract, so it will only show from the rollover date for the current contract.

But the YMU22_FUT_CBOT rolled over on 6/16, so you should have data going at least that far back.

Please open a separate chart for YMU22_FUT_CBOT and load data for at least the last 30 days. Then reload the data in the chart with the Add Additional Symbol and see if you get the additional data for that symbol.

That is an Intraday chart. Therefore, refer to:

#17 365.

There's two problems - if I go historical I cannot get RTH data only ETH. If I go intraday, I get RTH, but I cannot get the data to load.

For the YMU22_FUT_CBOT symbol that you opened in the individual chart, how many days to load do you have set, or if you are using a Date Range, what is the Date Range values set to?

You have us very confused. At first you showed Chart #16 that only had 2 bars. Then in this last post you showed Chart #11 with 30 days loaded, which showed about 22 bars, which would be about right given weekends.

First, let's reiterate the problem. In Post #8, you showed an image that was a main chart of ES with 2 "Add Additional Symbol" studies. The symbols that were added were NQ and YM. We established that the symbols were properly entered, since we could not verify that from the image.

Was that chart a "Historical Chart" or an "Intraday Chart"?

Do you have a chart for YMU22_FUT_CBOT open that matches the type of chart (Historical or Intraday) that has 30 days loaded and does that chart properly show the data?

If I go intraday, I get RTH, but I cannot get the data to load.
Follow the instructions here:
