Here's screenshot of CL and volume was massive before I deleted and downloaded again. It also happens on the ES, NQ, ZN 6E, which are the charts I have open. Why is this happening and when will it get fixed? I've seen where other people have had issues with volume on Nasdaq Total View(I think its called). This isn't the first time I've had issues with this.

Thanks

There are no issues with NASDAQ total volume:
I've seen where other people have had issues with volume on Nasdaq Total View(I think its called).
There is just a misunderstanding about that volume data.

In that Daily chart, go to Window >> Current Quote Window. Does the volume you see in the Current Quote Window match what you see for the last bar in the chart?

The correct volume for July 11 for August crude oil is 331066.

We know what the likely problem is in your case. Disable this setting and do not use it:

Data/Trade Service Settings: Download Total Volume for All Contracts for Futures Daily Data (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Historical Daily Data)

No, the volumes do not match.

Make sure this setting is set to Yes:
Chart Settings: Allow Real-Time Updating of Historical Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu)

Also for the current trading day, there should always be an exact match between the volume in a historical daily chart and in the Current Quote Window.

This does not make sense. We need to get that chart by following these instructions:

Todays volume is exactly the same on the chart with another source I checked. The Current Quote Window had already changed to 7-12-22 and it and the chart agree.

I went ahead and uploaded the Chartbook but since it didn't have erroneous volume I assume it won't do you any good.

It did it again today.

When I copy chart to new chartbook the volume changes to normal. As you can see from the screenshots, the volumes are different but when I copy chart to new Chartbook the volume changes. As soon as I select the new chartbook and hit OK, the volume on my regular chartbook changes to what the Current Quote Window shows.

I saved the chartbook anyway.

It didn't do it yesterday but it did again today. I actually made a video of the volume changing when I copied chart to chartbook and you can see the volume change.

And here is the chartbook but again, I don't think you will find anything because the volume changes when I select OK when choosing the chartbook. I also notice this Chartbook didn't print todays bar while the actual chartbook did have it.

I also uploaded a screenshot of the new Chartbook I created that doesn't show todays bar or volume but the Compact Tools Value Window does show all the information for todays bar.

Also I notice it saves these screenshots as NQU22-CME but they are actually ESU22-CME.

Without having to look at the Chartbook but analyzing the problem in the source code, we see why there is a problem. We are implementing a solution.

Update to 2417 and let us know if you still see any further issue. What we thought the problem was, was not an issue. We really do not know why there is a problem but we implemented a workaround to ensure you do see the correct volume in all cases.
