hello, whenever i hit "test" for an alert in the global settings the alert sound doesnt play, but a windows tone does. i checked the WAV file and location it works fine. i also tried restarting sierra chart

Check your Global Settings >> Paths >> Data Files Folder and ensure that your AlertSounds folder is one folder above that. In other words, your AlertSounds folder should be located at the same level as the Data folder, which is directly under the main Sierra Chart installation folder.

Also, after you try to test the sound, see if there is any information in your Message Log about the sound.
