Hi, I've tried to load a chart of ZN and I'm unable to get the price range to expand. Any idea what might be causing this?

The first thing to check is if you are in Logarithmic mode. You can not change the scale range in Logarithmic mode. To change this, go to the Chart pulldown and uncheck the selection for Logarithmic Scale. Refer to the following:
Chart Menu: Logarithmic Scale (Chart menu)

Otherwise, make sure your pointer is in the right mode to do the scaling. Refer to the following:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Interactive Scaling

Thanks, neither of those solved the issue. I don't have this issue with other charts so it seems to be something related to the ZN contract. Perhaps we could do a remote session?

Can you move the scale up and down? Is it just the range (compress/expand) of the scale that is not working?

If you right click on the scale, what is the selected item of the top three items listed?

Scale and move are both working but I can't expand it enough. The maximum it will allow is whole numbers. For instance 117 0/32, 118 0/32, 119 0/32 etc.

Please attach a chartbook with that chart in it for us to review. Refer to the following instructions:

When I duplicated the chart to another chartbook the problem went away (not in the original chart but in the new duplicated chart). I tried to duplicate the one that is working back to the previous chartbook but the problem persisted. So I just duplicated all of the charts in the original chartbook to the new chartbook. Problem solved. If you have any questions about it let me know.

If you still have the old chartbook we would like to take a look at it and see if we can see the issue.

Okay, yeah the problem is persisting in the old chartbook. I will upload it to you now. It has too symbols in the chart, CL and ZN. Both range bar charts (chart #'s 4 and 7) I can't expand the price ranges beyond a certain point. Just as a note I copied these charts from another chartbook where I was using different symbols.

We went through all of the charts, but we can move them all without any issues. If you have the problem again, let us know.

Strange, I can move them too but not beyond a certain point. Are you able to zoom in as much as you want?

Symbol settings for ZN are .5/32 for price display format and 0.01 for CL

The problem is related to the studies that are putting values up around 11000. If you reset the scale, it will show you the data up there. This is too big a range for the scale, so it ends up getting locked. You need to adjust or remove the studies that are creating the data those prices.

Sorry I had tried deleting studies but I missed one. Thanks for your help!
