SierraCharts Engineers, How can i do that Chart Drawings (added by user and by ASCIL in Study) have been visible underneath / above studies-subgraphs in the Chart Region different of the Main Region and set independent of the Main Region? In other words, I would like to set visible Chart Drawings above studies-subgraphs in any Chart Region different of the Main Region and simultaneously set Chart Drawings underneath the Main Price Graph. I know that is possible now (see attached pic) but I don't know how to do it. Enabled / disabled the "Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings Underneath Main Graph And Studies" and "Draw Highlight Drawings Underneath Main Graph And Studies" in the Chart Settings causes changes both in the Main Chart Region and in other Chart Region in the same way. Thank you very much Marek |

Maybe we have the miracle? ;) as the attached picter pic did not made in Photoshop, but using only the real existing Study. Unfortunately I do not have access to its source code, so I can not see how this feature has been obtained. So I thought that you will know how it was done on your platform...Next issue. In this feature: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_DLLTools.html#DrawUnderneathMainGraph there is a bug. Setting the DrawUnderneathMainGraph to 0 or 1, did not cause any change in a visibility the chart drawing using by sc.UseTool both in the Main Chart Region in reference to the Main Price Graph and in other Chart Regions in reference to Studies. Best Regards Marek |

Currently, using this flag when creating a drawing does not work. This will be addressed in ver 1135. If you adjust a current drawing, then the flag works as expected. I suspect the "miracle" drawing has been adjusted. |

Thank you very much !I suspect the "miracle" drawing has been adjusted.
These 4 my chart drawings in the attached picture has been added by Tools from the ToolBar, not by UseTool-ASCIL. In the Chart Settings >> Advenced Settings there are enable "Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies" and "Draw Highlight Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies". As you see, in the Main Region my Chart Drawings are underneath main price graph, and in the Chart Region 2 my Chart Drawings are above subgraphs of study. If my primary issue is not supported in some way, then this way of visibility should not by possible... Thanks Marek |

For user drawn drawings from the toolbar, they are drawn based on the configuration variables you mention. The one exception to that is when they are created/modified, in which case they are drawn in front until the drawing is complete. If your chart is not updating, then you could see a drawing that was in front until the chart updates. This anomaly has been addressed in the next version. If you save your chart and reopen it (or reload or scroll the chart), you should see the drawing be redrawn in the correct place.

Exactly in this way behaved user drawn drawings from the toolbar in every studies!... excpection this one, which is in the pictures. Really. But no matter. If the next version will include possibility to set a visibility the chart drawing using by sc.UseTool both in the Main Chart Region in reference to the Main Price Graph and in other Chart Regions in reference to Studies - independently of the Chart Settings, i'm satisfied with it. Thanks again, you created great platform Marek |

The feature DrawUnderneathMainGraph for sc.UseTool works half. PreRelease Version 1135. Case 1: Chart Settings >>"Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies" set to disable s_UseTool::DrawUnderneathMainGraph set to 1 Chart drawings using by sc.UseTool are underneath the Main Price Graph in the Main Chart Region and underneath Studies in other Chart Regions. It works properly. Case 2: Chart Settings >>"Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies" set to enable s_UseTool::DrawUnderneathMainGraph set to 1 Chart drawings using by sc.UseTool are underneath the Main Price Graph in the Main Chart Region and underneath Studies in other Chart Regions. It works properly. Case 3: Chart Settings >>"Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies" set to disable s_UseTool::DrawUnderneathMainGraph set to 0 Chart drawings using by sc.UseTool are above the Main Price Graph in the Main Chart Region and above Studies in other Chart Regions. It works properly. Case 4: Chart Settings >>"Draw Non-Highlight Chart Drawings underneath Main Graph and Studies" set to enable s_UseTool::DrawUnderneathMainGraph set to 0 Chart drawings using by sc.UseTool are still underneath the Main Price Graph in the Main Chart Region and still underneath Studies in other Chart Regions. In this case Chart drawings should be above. Could you please implement case 4, too. Thanks Marek |

Hi Sierra Chart Engineering, The case 4 described above still do not work properly (in current version 1137). Please, is there any chance to implement it? It should not be difficult to do and take a lot of time. Thanks, Marek |

In ver 1138, you will be able to control this with the DrawUnderneathMainGraph flag. If DrawUnderneathMainGraph is set to 1, the drawing will be drawn underneath the main graph. If DrawUnderneathMainGraph is set to 0, the drawing will be drawn above the main graph. If DrawUnderneathMainGraph is not explicitly set, the drawing will be drawn using the chart settings for drawing underneath. |
