Hello, how much tick data is included with FXCM EURUSD spot data ? I can only see about 186 days, is that true ? Because I read there were over 2 years at least tick data. Second how can I plot a tick chart because I only found to plot a 1 second line chart. Third, how to export tick data, because the data I can export has only a trade every few seconds, do I need to plot Bid-Ask data instead to get more quotes ? |

You would have at least 2 years of 1-tick data and then as much as 13 additional years of 4 second data. The actual amount will vary a little bit per symbol. To get more historical intraday data refer to the following: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data To get a tick chart, change the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Bar Period Type to Number of Trades per Bar. To export the data as it is stored in the file on your system, select Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text File. Refer to the following: Edit Menu: Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text file For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Sorry, but when I look on Futures only the actual and last expired contract is available for ES Futures. You say you have tick data available for last years, so why can I open intraday charts from the last two contracts only ? Where do I need to look for more data ?

You can enter the symbol name for the past 15 yeaars rather than looking it up. For example, for the ES U contract in 2018, you would enter the symbol ESU18-CME. Second, you can use the Continuous Futures Contract Chart option. Can I export 1 second tick data without the millisecond added after the second, because this causes problems when I try to import in MultiCharts. Just the hh:mm:ss, price in that order without the .ms extension. Is that possible, how ?

It is not possible. We export using just the one format. You can manipulate the data in Excel prior to importing it into another program. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
