Hello support,

Is there anyway to extend horizontal lines that Ive added to my charts so they run across the chart DOM? Just need a reference point when that thing is going crazy!
Much appreciated,
ND

There is not a way to draw lines in the DOM.

As an alternative, you could use the Horizontal Lines study and put a Value Label or Name Label in the DOM, either in the Price Ladder or in the Label column. Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Name and Value Labels
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Hi John,

Thanks for your suggestion. Ive been trying to add the horizontal lines study to the chart DOM and all that keeps happening is that I get a study added to the bottom of my main footprint chart (like if you added a volume study) but nothing showing in the lable column of the DOM. I even found this video, which Im following, but I cant seem to get anything to come up on the Chart DOM lable column https://www.ticinotrader.ch/how-to-add-custom-text-labels-to-sierrachart-dom/

What might I be doing wrong?

Much appreciated,

ND

It sounds like you have the Horizontal Lines study going into a separate region (region 2 most likely). Change the region for the study to be in region 1 and then you can do what you want with the labels. Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Chart Region
