Hello Support On your Sierra FXCM data feed your dax, Wall street (dow 30) and $ Yen charts are all showing a zero data feed for Saturday and sunday instead of showing nothing at all. If the chart prints a flat data bar as markets are closed surely this will affect the ATR calcs? There should be no data showing for Saturday or Sunday or else this will surely affect the ATR calcs? A zero data read will affect the atr, there should be no data read. For eg: On the 2nd May the dow ATR was 121 at the market close. It is currently reading 103 as it is calculating 0 for Sat and Sunday.....please advise?? The 5 min chart is showing a zero data print for both Sat and Sunday which it did not do last week? Thanks |

What this indicates is that you have Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >>Include Columns with No Data enabled. Disable it.

Hi Support, I did not have that column disabled. I have however also highlighted the do not print column with no data option as well. It still shows a single data print for Saturday on dax and dow. This will ruin the atr calcs. Please look into it for me. |

Re-download the data from before Saturday following the instructions in help topic 2.1.2: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails2.html And do you have Include Columns With No Data enabled or disabled? There is no possibility of seeing Saturday data for those symbols or Sunday morning and afternoon data for those symbols, if that option is disabled. The data does not exist. What do you have the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service set to? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
