Not able to download more than 6 months of XAUUSD data

Hello SC Team,
I have 4 different workbooks open which were all duplicates of the first.
NAS100, GPBJPY, XAUUSD, and XAGUSD.
For some reason, I can get several 1000 days of data in NAS, Silver and GJ, but I can only get the program to download 2 months of Gold data.
All of the chart settings are identical, as they are duplicates of each other.

I tried deleting the file and re-downloading. I checked the settings for the Global Instrument Settings. I also tried rebuilding the chart from scratch as opening an intraday chart. It is set in Data Limiting to download 2000 days on intraday charts and same on historical charts.

The strangest part is that this is unique to gold. I can get all the historical data for several years on Silver.

I am using Teton with IronBeam as a broker. Service Package 10.

Is there perhaps something else I have missed?

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Hello.
I followed the instructions and redownloaded the data. However, I get an error
File Compression not supported on File System.

This does not occur for Silver, or any other Forex/Futures instrument. Only Gold?
Any Help would be appreciated.

What kind of a storage device or drive is Sierra Chart stored on?

It is stored on the desktop file of a windows machine.
Using Parallels on a Mac with Windows 10 up to date on updates.
I never had a problem with gold before. Silver, GBPUSD, ES/NQ, etc. are all working without issue.
Any ideas what may be causing this?

We do not recommend installing Sierra Chart in a folder off of the desktop folder. Use a different folder.

Regarding this, we recommend exiting from Sierra Chart and deleting that data file and then see if you still have the problem.

Hello,
I moved SierraChart to the documents folder.
I deleted the XAUUSD.scid file
Then I used Find Symbol to open a new intraday chart.
Now, unfortunately, it is not even downloading a single bar.
It just continually shows the "Waiting to Download Historical Data" status warning.
Is there perhaps something else I can try? I have already rebuilt everything in a fresh installation of SierraChart, and getting the same issue.

This would mean there is another historical data download which is active and has not yet finished.

Follow the instructions here to increase the speed of historical data downloads, for now:

Try using an Intraday Data Storage Time Unit of 1 Minute.

The other thing is the next release coming out will support the ability to disable file compression to eliminate all of those file compression related errors.

You can update to the current version now:
Software Download: Fast Update

The setting to disable compression is in Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings.

Set Support Intraday File Compression to No. And then restart Sierra Chart.
