Good Afternoon, I am new to Sierra Chart and I hope to find help here: I am using "Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars" to display delta candles under my M5 chart. Is there an option to display only the candlesticks where there is a divergence between M5 candlestick color and delta candlestick color? For example: I only want to see a green delta candle, when there is a red candle in the M5 chart. The other delta candles should be hidden. Greetings Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-24 14:43:50

You would have to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study and base it on the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars and then set the alert for when you do NOT want to see the bars. Then set the color of the bar to be the same as the background. That way the bars will not be viewable. Nice! Thank you. Would it be possible to give me a little hint about the command-structure I have to type in using this alert condition? Greetings |

Try this: 1. Add the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study, and move it below the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars study. - Set the Based On to the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars study. - Set the Chart Region to the same as the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars study. - On the Subgraphs tab, set the Color Bar color to green. - Use a formula like this on the Alerts tab: =AND(C<O,ID1.SG4>0) where ID1 is the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars study. 2. Duplicate the color bar study. - On the Subgraphs tab, set the Color Bar color to red. - Use a formula like this on the Alerts tab: =AND(C>O,ID1.SG4<0) 3. In the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars study's settings, Subgraphs tab: - Set all 4 SGs to the same color as the chart background. This will hide the bars you don't want to see. |

Is it possible to add a black boarder around the candles?

Thank you for your answer. Yes - I know this option. But it does not effekt the border of the delta candles based on the alert condition. I uploaded a screenshot for you. I think it is something to add on in the alert condition. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-25 16:58:36

You can have the graphics settings apply to the Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars by enabling the option for Use Chart Graphics Settings for Subgraph Colors on the Subgraph tab for the study.
