I'm trying to project "Numbers Bar Calculated Values : specifically Total Volume of each bar above my Numbers Bar. I'm using the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study but after the update I've noticed that the "Draw Style Offset" doesn't seem to be working any more. No matter what I've tried I can't seem to get that value up and above the Numbers Bar study. Am I missing something?

Please see attached screen grabs. Thank you!

There appears to be some issues with the reworked study that we need to look into. For right now, do not use the offset, as it appears that this is changing the actual values that are displayed.

thank you so much — While you're poking in that study, any way you can add a couple of extra options to modify how it looks visually? Maybe allow for outline and transparent background similar to attached file?

Yes this will be the case. There have been no changes with this.

What is the Subgraph Draw Style that you are using?

The Draw Style Offset does work properly.

I believe it’s “Value on High” —

That Draw Style is not going to do what you want. And it has no support for the Offset setting in the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study.

Instead use this study for what you require:
Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text

Thank you.

I originally tried the referenced study but it paints all the values from the subgraph onto each respective bar. Which is why I switched to: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study to allow me to filter for volumes above a certain threshold.

It doesn’t make sense that the “offset in ticks” wouldn’t work for certain draw styles. Is that a limitation on the coding of the study?

Any other way to go about getting filtered volume projected above each bar based on a specific threshold?

Thanks again for the help.

You will want to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study to control whether the value is valid or not for a particular bar, just be sure that the Output When Condition is True is set to have the value you want displayed.

Then you can use the Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text to put the value where you want.
