We have updated your account to be a "Non-Professional" based on the information in your agreements.

Just be aware that to get the CME Group at the non-professional rate, you also need to connect to a live, funded, futures trading account at least once a month. We noticed that you had listed a Gain account, and although we do not offer any support, we can still connect to a Gain account. Just be aware that this may end at any time.

For more information on the CME Group requirements, refer to the following:

Hi Devon, regarding Real-time CME Group Futures Data we must ask: do you have a Futures Trading Account?

The CME Group expects you to have a Futures Trading Account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional
[*Note: we know of only the CME Group having this rule, not EUREX, not CFE, not NASDAQ, not NYSE, just the CME Group*]

From the CME Group Certification:
"The Non-Professional Subscriber must:
a. have an active and funded futures trading account;
b. be an individual, natural person or small business entity"

The solution if you do not have a Futures Trading Account (but would otherwise qualify as a Non-Professional) is described here:

Good stuff Devon, please re-complete the Market Data Agreements and be sure to include your AMP Futures Trading Account Information; your "Clearing Firm" will be "AMP Futures" and your "Futures Trading Account Number" is something like "AC123456".
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements

Then you need to connect Sierra Chart to your AMP Futures Trading Account in order to verify your Non-Professional status, for that AMP can provide you with the CQG WebAPI login credentials and with those in-hand, here are your set up instructions:

Hi User954898, I assume you are talking about qualifying as a Non-Professional for Real-time CME Group Futures Data? If so please tell us the following: do you have a Futures Trading Account?

Ok, do you have an Account currently that gives you access to Trading CME Group Futures?

Dear Support,

I have the same problem. My account is tagged as professional account but that is a mistake it should be non-professional. I have an account with stage broker 5 and already funded. They told me they have linked the broker account to Sierra chart.

What else do i have to do to get non-professional?

Broker: Stage 5

Thank you for completing the Market Data Agreements.

I see that you have activated the CME Exchange Real-time Non-Profesional Option (with Market Depth included).

Hello, I recently made a account and it flagged me a professional trader, but I’m not. I have a futures trading account with APEX which connects through rhythmic, can someone help with changing my account to non professional.

Hi Collsla, APEX Trader Funding is not a Regulated Futures Broker, so an account with them does not meet the CME Group requirement for qualifying as a Non-Professional.

You might consider setting up a Futures Trading Account at one of the Brokers listed in #2 here:

Hi, I have a 'professional' CME Exchange designation because I only have an APEX account. I pay for the professional fee on CME Exchange. I have Package 12 and am trying to turn on real-time NASDAQ/Equities data to support a 'trading floor' chartbook I have been working on recently. Everything is working in the chartbook but the data is delayed 15 minutes or so. I have filled out the various agreements as non-professional for the non-CME exchanges but am not sure if I need to add any additional exchanges at $10 each from the look of it and if so which one(s) for SPY, QQQ and the MAG 7 stocks? Thanks!

We see that you have filled out the agreements for the NASDAQ TotalView exchange, but you have not activated the exchange itself yet. The cost of this exchange is $16.00 per month. You can activate it at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeedNASDAQ#Exchanges

But, since you reference SPY and QQQ, you probably want the data from our "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" exchange, rather than the "NASDAQ TotalView". The information for each of these is at their respective links:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes

US Stock/Equities Consolidated Tape Data Feed

There is also a third option, in addition to either of the above, which is to activate both the NASDAQ TotalView and the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape and then open a chart with the standard ticker and a suffix of _MBO (such as TSLA_MBO). In doing so, you will get the price and volume data for the Consolidated Tape, along with the Market Depth data for the NASDAQ TotalView.

Thank you!

I attempted to activate the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" for $10 and it returned a screen with the following highlighted in red:

[✖] Exchange Agreements need to be reviewed by Sierra Chart Support.

Please let me know if I need to do anything further to activate this service.

I appreciate the speedy service!

You first need to fill out the agreements for the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements_STOCKS

Then, once the agreements have been reviewed and accepted, you will be able to activate the exchange.

Post back in this thread when you have the agreements filled out so we can look them over quicker for you.
