I had a chart opened displaying Vix futures and it worked fine. When I try to switch to Vix index $Vix the chart attempts to download data but when it finishes it is completely blank with no data displayed at all. I have tried using another symbol $VVIX and tried to delete data and reload chart with no luck. I have realtime data for CFE. Any ideas what the problem might be? |

The real-time data for the CFE gives you access to the VIX futures, but not the index. To get data for the $VIX index, you need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the CBOE Indices exchange. Sorry but I cannot see the CBOE indices. I can see all other exchanges but not the CBOE is it activated elsewhere?

As noted above, the CBOE Indices is part of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed (which is separate from the Denali Exchange Data Feed).
