1. Automatic Trendlines: is it possible to get this study complimented by the Swing H-L study? If not, is it possible to get the code for both of these studies? 2. Spreadsheets and multiple chartbooks: I have 30 products, meaning 30 chartbooks, to trade. I have created a spreadsheet for certain timeframes to check for certain study conditions. If I were to create a spreadsheet for each individual chart, then I would be at 120 spreadsheets. This would allow me to receive the alerts, but I wonder how much memory and computing power would it cost. Maybe you have a better solution? I have tried to recalculate when moving from one chartbook to another, but there seems to be some challenges in this as well. 3. The custom key for the function "recalculate all charts" fails to be customized. See attachment 4. Is it possible with the scan function to check all my 30 products with only 4 spreadsheets? Please see number 2 for further understanding. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-09 17:43:22

1. We do not know what you mean by "complimented by", but the source code for both of these studies is available. Refer to the following: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code: Searching for Source Code for Sierra Chart Built-In Studies 2. We do not have enough information to give any information on how to improve what you are doing with the Spreadsheets. But, you might want to consider creating a custom study rather than using the Spreadsheets. Refer to the following: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL) Also refer to the information here for general things to do to improve performance: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.48 - Basic Steps to Resolve Performance Issue in Sierra Chart 3. We see that it has not been setup yet. It is still being worked on. 4. We do not know as we simply do not have enough information. You would need to determine this. 1. complimented means adding functionality to incorporate varying prior swing highs and lows from the swing h-l study. Ex. trendline points: Swing H[-1] Swing H[-4]. Additionally, it might be interesting to also have an angle input as well. Ex. angle between 60 and 25 2. custom study will take some time, but thx anyway. 3. thx 4. ? 1. Have you tried using the Automatic Trendlines and basing it on the Swing High and Low study? We do not know if it will accomplish what you want, but you can give it a try. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Based On - Basing a Study on Another Study 4. We don't know enough about your spreadsheets and how you have them setup to be able to answer whether you could get away with only 4 spreadsheets and using the scan functionality. You would need to determine this. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
