Hi, suddenly my attached stop and target lines are unable to change (move up or down) once the order is placed and visible on the chart. This was not the case last week whith the same settings. I experience this in SIM but because I don't know what is going on I can not try it in my live account.

Already thanks,
AvdB

I just had a similar experience. I have been sim trading with some keyboard shortcuts (scripted in AutoHotkey to send key strokes to SC's keyboard shortcuts) and order enter/exit has been working great. It also worked great in live trading.

Then, I tried using the keyboard to change my existing stop order on an open position, one tick at a time. It worked great is sim, but did not work in live trading. I checked the Trade Service Log, and it showed me that I had exceeded the Teton CME Routing message rate limit. This cascaded into the inability to modify the stop order--even with the mouse--because I had exceeded 20 failed modifications.

So, lesson learned - just move the stop with the mouse :)

Thank you SC Team for created a tool that tells you what is happening under the hood (e.g. Trade Service Log). One question - is it possible to replicate this message rate limiting in sim mode?

You need to contact your broker and have them increase this message rate limit for your account. They can do that.

You can do this, with the Trading Evaluator service:
