Hello, I have applied the Heiken-Ashi study to a tick chart. The color of my bars are red and green. Is there a way to color the background of the chart based on the color of the Heiken-Ashi bar (just the body not including the wick). I don't think I can do it based on opening and closing prices of the H-A bar since they are not real prices. Hoping you can assist. Thanks so much. |

The color of the Heiken-Ashi bar is determined in the same way as a standard bar: - If the Last is greater than the Open, then it is an "Up" bar and is colored green - If the Last is less than the Open, then it is a "Down" bar and is colored red You can use this information in the Color Background Based on Alert Condition to get the background colored how you want based on the bar color (really, the Open/Close data). Refer to the following: Color Background Based on Alert Condition For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
