Earlier when I used Transact as my broker, I was paying only 26USD for Sierra charts Now it is prompting me to pay 38USD can you please explain what extra services I am getting and do I really need them? I need the Denali feed that is @1.25USD and my base 26USD so at the most 28USD Why 38USD? Is sierra charts beginning to get expensive to use? |

When using Teton order routing you have to use package 10 or higher and that is 36 USD per month. Plus there is the cost of the Data exchange fee ($1.25 for CME Exchange Top-Of-Book Data), note that that money goes to the CME Group. Is sierra charts beginning to get expensive to use? -- No, not at all. It is getting less expensive to use. Much less. You are getting much more comprehensive higher-quality data, including vast amounts of historical tick data. You are having $0.00 Order Routing cost where $0.10 per contract per side is the lowest cost you will see anywhere else. In fact because there is no cost for Teton Order Routing, we can say that if you trade 180 contract round turns per month Sierra Chart is effectively FREE.And there is also inflation and there are no price increases for Sierra Chart. You have a superb value. |
