Maybe this is what you are looking for. Chart Studies: Study Settings Window Settings and Inputs Tab >> Short Name Use the Short Name setting to give a study a short or custom name to display as an alternative to the default study name in the Region Data Line for the chart region where the study is located on the chart and to display in the Chart Values windows. sorry my problem it's not for a study, it's for a graph. I would like to draw lines on a graph, and have them automatically put on another graph for example: when i draw a line on graph fdax#1, the line is drawn too on graph fdax#2 i can't change #1 for #2 |

We are not understanding what you are wanting to do. Can you give us more information? If it is easier for you to post in French, then go ahead and do so, and we will use a translator to convert.

From Google Translate: Thanks, that will be easier.
I open a future dax chart on an instrument and it marks me at the top left "FDAXM22-EUREX[M] #1" as a reference I open another chart of the same instrument and it also shows me "FDAXM22-EUREX[M] #1" I would like to have "FDAXM22-EUREX[M] #1" as reference for chart 1 and "FDAXM22-EUREX[M] #2" as reference for chart 2 It's the number after # that I can't change, and of course I can't link the graphs together. I would like to know how to have a different number on each graph Typically that number after the symbol IS the chart number and should be different for each chart. In fact, it would normally show exactly as you want it to. But, you may have changed the defaults for what is displayed in the Chart Header. Take a look at what entries you have for the Chart Header by selecting Global Settings >> Customize Chart Header (Standard). Also, it sounds like the user instead of having 2 charts within the same chartbook, may be using 2 different chartbooks. That would explain why there are 2 charts with the same "#1" Just trying to help JohnR |

ah peut être que je n'ouvre pas les graphiques comme il faut. je fais comme ça: j'ouvre un graphique dax, puis je vais dans "file", "new chartbook", je vais chercher le dax, et effectivement ça me marque #1 à chaque graphique |

From Google Translate: ah maybe i'm not opening the charts properly.
I do like this: I open a dax chart, then I go to "file", "new chartbook", I look for the dax, and indeed it marks me #1 on each chart Therefore, you are doing what the user JohnR pointed out (thanks JohnR). You are opening a new Chartbook for each chart. Chartbooks are a way to keep a collection of charts for a specific purpose. You can just have a single Chartbook if that is all you need, or you can have as many as you need. It's a personal choice. But, as noted above, each Chartbook has it's own set of charts where each starts with Chart #1. If you want charts 2, 3, 4, 5, etc., then they would need to be within the same chartbook. To do this, once you have a Chartbook open, select File >> Find Symbol and then select the symbol you want and then select the type of chart to open (Intraday or Historical). You can also duplicate charts, which would be easier since you are using the same symbol. Refer to the following page for all the information you need on Chartbooks and Charts: Chartbooks (Workspaces) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
