I have a saved configuration which is set to: Target 1 = Qty:2 Target 2 = Qty:1 Target 3 = Qty:1 It works for a while then it resets itself to: Target 1 = Qty:1 << Target 2 = Qty:1 Target 3 = Qty:2 << How can I prevent this reset? |

The only things we can think of that would cause this would be the following: - Changing the configuration file that is in use by selecting it through a Control Bar button. Refer to the following: Control Bar: Control Bar Trade Window Configuration Buttons - The Trade Window is linked with another chart and the other chart trade window was changed. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Linking Trade Window Configuration Between Charts - You are actually looking at a trade window for a different chart and the original trade window is still correct. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you. I am on 2383 I do not use the control bar to open a trade window, I leave it open. I only have two charts in this chart book, and only one has a trade window. There is only one trade window open. When I delete the associated chart (only for this discussion) that trade window closes. |

This would happen when changing the parent order quantity.

I see. This negatively impacts ones ability to scale in or out without altering the target values. Can this be fixed? |

I know this is an old thread but this same behavior still exists when switching quantities as far as I can tell. Is there a way to lock targets per quantity?

There is not a way to "lock" the quantities to particular targets. The solution is to use an Order Configuration when making a change to ensure that the quantities for the attached orders are setup the way you want them to be. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Using and Changing Between Different Trade Window and Attached Orders Configurations For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
