Add free-form text description to an alert

Although the alert log shows us the source of the alert, the current text description shows the name of the study and if conditions were met by the formula. Still this could be confusing, if you have several alerts and can't tell for sure what "C>SG9 is TRUE" means on the fly. Can a free form text be added to the Alert Text? For example: "Price is now in buy territory, shift outlook" or whatever.

If you use the Alert Pop-Up, rather than the log, then you can give a name to the alert and have that show up. Refer to the information here:
