Hi, I'm struggling to figure out how to get a certain style rendered on my chart. I'm using VWAP and would like to have the following: * From VWAP to +/- VWAP+1 Std Dev, white background * From VWAP+/-1 Std Dev to VWAP+/-2 Std Dev, colored background * From VWAP+/-2 Std Dev and beyond, white background I can successfully get either the top or bottom to render using "Fill Top". However, when I do the other side, I end up with a skewed render. In my settings, Extension 2 is VWAP+/-1 and Extension 4 is VWAP+/-2. I've tried a combination of Fill Top/Bottom at Extension 2, colored, in combination with Extension 4 Fill Top colored white, or ignored. The only thing I can get to work is one side. For instance, Extension 2, Fill Bottom Colored with Extension 4, Fill Bottom White. That combination gets me the image below. * vwap-bottom-correct.png - This is what it should like, but with bands on both sides of the VWAP+/-1 Area, without extending beyond VWAP+/-2 * vwap-add-top-to-bottom.png - This is what happens when I replicate the top side to the correct bottom. Can you help me identify what I might be doing incorrectly or if there's a defect or design limitation? Thanks. Taylor |

You would need to use 2 instances of the Study Subgraph References study to do what you want. In each one you will specify the subgraphs from the VWAP for which you want the coloring in between. You can not do it directly in the VWAP study as you are wanting multiple coloring options for a subgraph. Hi. Your last suggestion was great. Thanks for helping. I'm almost there, but having an issue with one last thing. I'm using the Study Subgraphs reference. That renders what I want on the screen. In order to get the bands, I'm using a transparent fill above and below SG2 (for example) which extend all the way to the top and bottom. In order to cut the bands off, I'm using a solid fill above and below SG4. That produces what I want. However, when I draw over the SG4 area, it's overlayed above the drawing, hiding it. If I uncheck "Draw Study Underneath Main Price Graph", then my candles that go above and below the band area are hidden. So, I'm stuck. Any help is appreciated. |

Okay, I solved the issue. And, rather than delete my post, I'll add the solution to anyone who needs it. In Chart Settings > Chart Drawings, change the value of "Draw Highlight Drawings Underneath Main Graph and Studies" to "No". That did the trick for me. Thanks to SC support for getting me going in the right direction originally. |

Hi don’t know if you could help. Basically trying to set up my vwap bands like yours displaying +2 and -2. Whenever I do fill bottom/top transparent it fills the whole bottom/top of my screen rather than making a band. Wondering if you could guide me in the right direction
