Hi there, This study is supposed to write (Date-Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume) to a file (Write Bar Data to File). However, I am also getting additional fields (# of Trades, OHLC Avg, HLC Avg, HL Avg, Bid Volume, Ask Volume). I tried several things in the Chart Settings, but tehy only affect what gets displayed in the Tool Values Window. Is there a way to disable these additional values to file? Thx |

1. When you save the file, change the extension from .txt/.itxt to .csv 2. Open the file in spreadsheet software of your choice. 3. Delete columns you don’t need. |

Thanks, but that is not what I was looking to do. Sure you can always post-process the file. It looks like there is a way to prevent saving these additional fields, especially the study help does not list them as being written. Thanks again. |

Hello Sierra Team, Is there a solution yet? I'm exporting large files too for backtest reasons and reducing the unused columns from bar data like OHLC HL avg would help very much. Or something else like a split file by day feature. Thank you so much Florian Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-09-12 08:15:51
