Hello,

I am trying to navigate the Trading System Based on Alert Condition, and would appreciate some clarification.

1. Is this a particular coding language? I am struggling to find direct resources on the basics.
2. Would it be possible to call a particular value from another study?
3. Is there a way for me to backtest the algorithm on replayed data if the condition involves the order flow? Or does the replay function only supply the pricepoint at each given time during the day? (The footprint chart shows 0 x 0 (bid x ask) at each pricepoint on replay)

Appreciate your time, let me know if any further clarification is needed on my end.

1. This is not a general coding system, it is an internal to Sierra Chart code. You will find all the information on this page:
Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning

2. Refer to this section in particular and the section after it:
Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Study Subgraphs

3. You can test your algorithm using the replay. If your Numbers Bars are showing 0x0 on a replay then they would have had to be showing that without the replay. Check your data without the replay and see if this is the case. If you do have data showing in the Numbers Bars properly, but then are not showing properly during a replay, then we need to know about this, as it is not correct functioning.
