Hello, Good People! Here's a wishlist item: Some of us have many charts constantly displayed, with various alerts set up to fire under various conditions. (Volume, price levels, trend lines, home-grown indicators, etc.). Sometimes it's difficult to know on which chart the alert just triggered. I would like a check box and time option added to the chart settings menu that allows me to cause the chart to change background color when ANY alert on the chart triggers until I click that chart. Example: 20 charts displayed. Price crosses trend line. Trend line alert plays sound and blinks. Which chart? I don't know yet. But if the chart changes background color to yellow I can easily see which one it was, and then click that chart to return its background color back to its "unalerted" color. Note, if the alert is caused by a drawing that is referenced by other charts, the color change would occur only on the chart that is referenced, not the others. I would like to see the source of the alert light up. |

+1 Interested in this as well. Plus, is it possible.. to have a chart be 'brought forward' on alert... Example Im watching ES fullscreen, while i have NQ/CL/GC/RTY/BTC/etc in the background... an alert triggers on CL which brings that chart 'forwards' for review |

There is the Alert Manager, and the functionality to go to a chart that generated the alert: Alerts Manager: Go To Chart If you want to do anything more, use ACSIL. ACSIL can change the chart background color: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.ChartBackgroundColor Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks, I'm aware of this function but it doesn't do what I need. Perhaps you can put this on a the "maybe in the future" features list. |
