Hello SC support, I created a visual alert (Color bar on alert) that displays a Diamond which I placed at the close (Input Data = Last) of a candle ; for better visibility I then put an offset (percentage offset) of +15 in order to shift the Diamond in the extension of the candle ; that works well when I have an Up bar ; my problem is with a down bar : the Diamond doesn't go beyond the bar but inside (?!?) the bar with an offset of +15 ; How can I manage to have the Diamond shifted outside with 15 either with up or down bar beyond the close ? Thanks for your supportive help. |

Hello Support, With the study : Color Bar based On Alert Condition , I tested this weekend the behavior of the offset with all different types of Input Data : It seems that all are correct except with Last : is it possible to apply the +/- offset choice in a differential manner respecting the direction (in its extent) of the candle and not in absolute as it is the cas now? Thank you again. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-04-29 15:48:01

You can do this with a spreadsheet study, or in an existing spreadsheet study set to Chart Region 1.

Thanks Tomgilb, as I have already an heavy .StdyCollct file and I extensively use this kind (Last) of input Data (Color Bar on Alert), I don't think it's an optimal solution to take each offset and manually code it in a spreadsheet ; I'm afraid I would really weigh down the files (*.StdyCollct + new spreadsheet) associated for one graphic and moreover I have to repeat it for each market. Is it possible SC Support, as it is a standard alert (color bar on alert): I just ask to apply a dynamic offset behavior (working correctly with either up or down bar) associated with the Last choice. It will be of great help in a next release. Thanks a lot. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-05-01 11:48:38
