Is there a setting in sierra to widen the scroll bar just under the times and dates at the bottom of the chart that moves the chart forward or back to a previous time? A previous computer with Sierra has a wide scroll button at the bottom. The computer I switched to has a narrow scroll bar at the bottom. It is the scroll bar that moves the chart to a previous time or moves it forward in time. I hope this is enough information Thanks. I did attach a screen shot as reqested and one from the previous computer to show the width of the previous scroll bar. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1645794520574.png |

In Windows the way you change that is in the registry editor for your system. To my understanding it is not a risk to change those specific settings, they can always be changed back. Someone could answer with greater detail if they know. Open the registry editor Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Control Panel > Desktop > Window Metrics Here there are 2 settings for the scroll bar ScrollHeight and ScrollWidth. Double click on the name tab to change a value. They are set to around 500 by default, try lowering it. I think that 0 is the lowest they can be set to but someone else might know. Restart PC for the change to go in effect. There is also BorderWidth and PaddedBorderWidth to make borders of charts use more or less screen space. |
