Hi there, I am having some issues when I try to switch time frame using the keyboard after I updated my trading platform (2351 version). Before, I just typed in, say, "3m" and press enter to get the 3min timeframe or "3000v" for the 3k volume chart or whatever other timeframe I wanted. After updating to the aforementioned version, it won't work anymore. I type in and press enter but it doesn't do anything... Can you please help me out? Thanks, Fabio |

We just tried this and it is working in the latest release, so we do not think it is anything that has changed. The one thing we can think is the following information from the documentation for this feature: When a chart drawing modification function on the Tools menu, like the Erase Drawing Mode or Move Drawing, is selected, changing the period of the chart bars through the keyboard may not work. To solve this problem, select a different tool like Tools >> Chart Values.

Hi John, thanks for coming back to me. Actually, I think that the problem is that the system won't accept the caps lock for the timeframe switching. Let me explain... On the letters m and v (which represent minute and volume for the timeframe switching), I have other keyboard shortcuts in use. Precisely, I have the marker tool under "m" and the vertical line under "v". So, any time I was to switch timeframe, I used the letter M and V (not "m" and "v") through the use of the shift keyboard (i.e. I pressed 3 + shift + m to get the 3-minute time frame), basically using 3M instead of 3m. Sierra used to accept M as well as m for the time frame switching. Now, it seems that the M isn't accepted anymore and just accepts the m. To solidify my point, in order to switch timeframe through keyboard shortcuts as I did before the update, I have to leave the "caps lock" activated. With the caps locked, when I press, say, 3+shift+M, the platform recognizes 3m (because if caps is locked the M becomes m) and changes the timeframe (same goes for volume and all). So the issue seems to be the recognition between uppercase and lowercase. Is it something you can look into it? Thanks, Fabio |

The entries for the time frame changes through the keyboard have always been lower-case only. There has not been any change to this recently.
