When you say order flow most likely you are referring to Bid Volume and Ask Volume. Although this will not be accurate for a CFD symbol like XAUUSD. For the Numbers Bars study you will want to use the Service Package 5: Description of Service Packages and Pricing To obtain accurate Bid Volume and Ask Volume, we recommend using the COMEX gold symbol through the Delayed Exchange Data Feed: Delayed Exchange Data Feed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Real-time data for XAUUSD is available at no extra cost with any Sierra Chart package. But, as noted above, since this is a CFD, the Bid/Ask data is not going to be accurate. This is why it is recommended to trade the Gold futures from the CME Group instead. We process that data directly as part of our Denali Exchange Data Feed and therefore it is very reliable and stable. Refer to the information for the Denali Exchange Data Feed here: Denali Exchange Data Feed For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks for your support and suggestions : I have some queries after following your instruction I tried to open the chart on COMEX and FXCM CFD , I have following queries (Please refer the attached Files): ---As per your suggestion that the number bars data is not ACCURATE so I tried to open the Symbol on COMEX (GOLD GCG22 _February ) ---After Opening the symbol on COMEX I am getting the number flow as seen in PIC 2 ---I found that the Number flow data is more ACCURATE or seems to be more fluidic on XAUUSD (FXCM) compared to COMEX (GOLD) ---For Accuracy do I have to trade on this Symbol -COMEX -GCG22? ---Please check the attached files and let me now is it correct or I am doing something wrong. ---I tried this on my another trial account. I want to get a subscription on regular basis but I am confused How do I get Number flow data with ACCURACY (Realtime) for GOLD /XAUUSD. also Please clarify that if the DATA on XAUUSD (CFD) is not accurate then the data for symbols like USDCAD is also not ACCURATE? |

The reason you saw more fluidity in the XAUUSD is because you were looking at the G contract for Gold, which is no longer the front contract. You would need to look at the J contract (GCJ22-COMEX). In general, the CFD data is not going to be as accurate as these are Over-The-Counter traded, so there is not a single exchange from which to get the data. We get our data from FXCM, so if you want to know more about how they get their information, you would need to check with them. Therefore, if you are using order flow for your trading, then we recommend trading the direct Futures contract (GC) rather than the CFD. But in the end, it is your choice.
