Hi, I'm currently paying for Denali and Exchange data so I can have futures data as well as equities data. I've got two different installations of Sierra. One configured for execution through IB and one using just the data feed from Sierra. I went through all the documentation but I must still have something not configured correctly...I've noticed some discrepancies with the data when I've got the same symbol side by side....mostly with the way volume at price is printing. I think I could still be pulling in data from IB instead of using Sierra data. What is the best way for me to confirm on my IB connected installation that I'm using data from Sierra instead of IB? Thanks! |

To ensure your data is from Sierra Chart, ensure that the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to Yes and that you have an [M] after the symbol in the Chart Header. Refer to the information here: Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
