During the trading day my charts will randomly reload and create strange and repeating bar patterns on my range bar chart. These bars all have the same time stamp that will end with 00 seconds. This causes major issues in my trading strategy. There are times over the last several days that it has done this most of the day. I need to know what may be causing this issue. I am attaching a chart image/link as well as sending the message log via the "send for analysis" button due to the size of the log. Thanks https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1644003095713.png |

We do see some of the following messages in your Message Log: Close event error. Windows error code 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
This indicates a connectivity issue. Refer to the following: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues: 1.2. Network Communication or Server Problem In terms of the repeated data, you would need to look at milliseconds that are part of the time display in the Tool Values Window. See what that shows for those bars and if they are actually at different times. I am working to see if the connectivity issue is somewhere on my end. As far as the repeating data, I looked at the Tools Values Window and verified that all the bars show the same time with the milliseconds are all 00 on each bar with the same time. Very annoying and messes up my entire trading process. Hopefully, this can be resolved soon. Thanks |

We cannot help with CQG market data and we definitely do not recommend using it. This is going to be the source of the issue. And we do not provide technical support for it. And we have phased out support for CQG historical tick data. You really must be using the Denali Exchange Data Feed when using CQG: Denali Exchange Data Feed More information is here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2351 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
