Using SC v2348, Infinity/Transact, chart won’t connect, “Error connecting to trade or data service”. I was assured by Infinity and you just today that you would not be deactivating Transact immediately, but would be phased out. This is the first time I haven’t been able to connect, was working fine all day until the market close. Yes, I’ve rebooted, and have a live Infinity DOM that’s operating fine, just no Sierra connection, nothing changed on my end in the last 5hrs since it worked. #ES symbol. Thx

Refer to: *Important* Priority Message to Transact Users Among other information, it says: Update: 2022-02-02:
We have numerous reports of users unable to connect to Transact. This issue is under the control of Transact. Sierra Chart does not control Transact connectivity. This is going to be a Transact issue and you need to contact them for help with this. This thread here answers the question that some users have, where they think the recent Transact system issues, are due to Sierra Chart when they are not: SC with Transact The information below, is fully unrelated to this problem that Transact users are currently experiencing. This really is a superb example, of why we do not like Transact. Sierra Chart users, are secondary to them. They are not solving the problem, and then there is the unfair determination the issue is with us. Please move off of Transact as soon as possible. We will help you. And if you require auto liquidation functionality we can help with that as well. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. We have to question, whether this is deliberate on the part of Transact/Ninja Maybe this is some kind of strategy they are following, where they want to make Sierra Chart look poorly to those people who are non-technical and do not realize the source of problems, so then you think there is a problem with Sierra Chart, so then you do not move on to our superior services (Teton order routing and Denali data feed). Look this is just simply a possibility. We do not want to publicly allege anything, but why is this happening at this time? Although it should be obvious to anyone looking at our Message board, that there are no issues with any other services that Sierra Chart supports including our own , Teton and Denali. So not sure this this possible conclusion is really true. Just throwing out an idea. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I am sorry to hear about the connection issues with Transact/Infinity. I am a former Infinity Futures Broker and I believe the best solution would be to switch to Sierra Teton Order Routing with Denali for real time and historical data. This is all maintained by Sierra directly, which I feel provides great benefits to traders as Sierra can focus on enhancements instead of maintenance of other third party order routing feeds. In addition, I feel it is the best overall quality and value for traders. As far as I understand, the Transact connection is in the process of no longer being supported by Sierra Chart. Please feel free to contact us and we will gladly assist you with any questions you may have and/or the process of transitioning your account and hopefully helping you improve your current trading solution.
