Teton broker/FCM loss controls

Hi - 12yr SC/Transact (Infinity) user, it appears I have to change brokers if I want to continue using SC. I’ve contacted EdgeClear, and if I opt for Rithmic they will give me $1K margin trading #ES using SC, but if I use your Teton, their clearing firms will only allow 25% margin, $2,970/contract because SC hasn't granted broker/FCM side loss controls. His exact quote was, "Teton at the moment does not offer any Broker or FCM side risk controls other than margin.” Is this correct? Big deal breaker for switching to Teton. Thx.

Yes this is true and this is why we allow months for the transition. We do have the auto liquidation (what they are describing) capability developed and tested but we just have to go through some final steps and approval for it. @User100081, You may want to check with Anthony at Stage 5 for their quote. Seemed a little more competitive at $650 day margin for the ES. Hope this helps. |
