The attached image shows the issue. SC 2348. Trading the Sim1 account, I see the position 1 long on the DOM but the Trade Activity Log shows no Position. Consequently, a DTC command to SubmitFlattenPositionOrder results in rejection because "Position does not exist" I think this problem is unique to Sim accounts, but I'm not absolutely sure. Hi DabbaDo, What you're experiencing is the same problem I had. There's a file you that is not getting properly overwritten in some versions of SC during SIM mode. See another user's thread here: Problem with SIM Order I just switched to SC's Simulated Futures Trading Service which actually sends the order to SC's server at the exchange. It's better to use that server than normal sim because you get realistic fills: Simulated Futures Trading Service One other unrelated item that tripped me up. You cannot get CME live data through your custom script interacting with the DTC protocol in case that affects your plans at all. (You can get Eurex.) |
